भारतीय टीम के ओपनर बल्लेबाज इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ टेस्ट सीरीज में कुछ खास प्रदर्शन नहीं कर पा रहे है. मुरली विजय, शिखर धवन और केएल राहुल तीनों ही ओपनर बल्लेबाज इस सीरीज में फ्लॉप साबित हुए है.
बता दें, कि ट्रेंट ब्रिज में खेले जा रहे तीसरे टेस्ट मैच में भारतीय टीम के ओपनिंग की जिम्मेदारी शिखर धवन और केएल राहुल को मिली, लेकिन एक बार फिर दोनों दिग्गजों ने भारतीय क्रिकेट प्रशंसकों को निराश किया है.
सस्ते में लौटे धवन और राहुल
ट्रेंट ब्रिज में खेले जा रहे तीसरे टेस्ट मैच में धवन और राहुल ने भारतीय टीम के लिए एक अच्छी शुरूआत तो की, दोनों ने पहले विकेट के लिए 60 रन जोड़े, लेकिन दोनों ही बल्लेबाज अच्छी शुरूआत का फायदा नहीं उठा सके.
शिखर धवन जहां 35 रन पर आउट हो गये. वही केएल राहुल भी मात्र 23 रन के स्कोर पर पवेलियन लौट गये. बता दें, कि अबतक दोनों बल्लेबाज सीरीज में एक अर्धशतक भी नहीं लगा पाये है.
