वेस्टइंडीज के खिलाफ हुए हैदराबाद टेस्ट को भारतीय टीम ने तीन दिनों में ही 10 विकेट से जीत लिया है। दूसरी पारी में 367 रन बनाने के बाद भारतीय टीम को 56 रनों की बढ़त मिली थी। वेस्टइंडीज की टीम पहली पारी की तरह दूसरी पारी में बल्लेबाजी नहीं कर पाई और पूरी टीम सिर्फ 127 रनों पर पवेलियन लौट गई। भारत को जीत के लिए मिले 72 रनों के लक्ष्य को टीम ने आसानी से हासिल कर लिया। इस मैच में उमेश यादव ने 10 बल्लेबाजों को आउट किया।
भारत ने जीता सीरीज
राजकोट में हुए पहले टेस्ट को भारतीय टीम ने पारी और 272 रनों से जीत लिया था। वह मैच भी तीसरे दिन ही समाप्त हो गई थी। यह मैच को भी आसानी से जीतकर भारतीय टीम ने दो मैचों में सीरीज को 2-0 से जीत लिया। इसके साथ ही 2002 से वेस्टइंडीज के खिलाफ सीरीज नहीं हारने के सिलसिले को भारतीय टीम ने बरकरार रखा।
