भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बीच तीन मैचों की वनडे सीरीज का पहला वनडे मैच सिडनी क्रिकेट स्टेडियम में खेला जा रहा है. इस मैच का टॉस भारत की टीम ने जीता और पहले बल्लेबाजी करने का फैसला किया है. ऑस्ट्रेलियाई टीम ने पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए निर्धारित 50 ओवर में 5 विकेट के नुकसान पर 288 रन बनाये है.

ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बल्लेबाजों ने शानदार खेल दिखाया है और अपनी टीम को 288 रन का एक सम्मानजनक स्कोर दिया है. ऑस्ट्रेलिया के लिए सबसे ज्यादा 61 गेंदों पर 73 रन की पारी पीटर हैंड्सकॉम्ब ने खेली.
वहीं टीम के लिए उस्मान ख्वाजा ने 81 गेंदों पर 59 रन की पारी खेली. शॉन मार्श ने भी अपनी टीम के लिए 70 गेंदों पर 54 रन बनाये. मार्कस स्टोइनिस ने भी अपनी टीम के लिए अंत के कुछ ओवरों में शानदार बल्लेबाजी की और अपनी टीम के लिए 43 गेंदों पर नाबाद 47 रन बनाये.
भारत के लिए कुलदीप यादव और भुवनेश्वर कुमार ने 2-2 विकेट हासिल किये. वहीं रविन्द्र जडेजा ने एक विकेट हासिल किया.
